Activity

• Pick-up at your accommodation between 7:30-8:00 am. (Pick up is available within Chiang Mai City)
• Drive about 1.5 hours to the southern mountains of Chiang Mai.
• Stop at the local market before arriving at Le Cher.
• Learn about the history and behaviour of Asian elephants in Thailand with a discussion on elephant care and ethics.
• Spend time getting to know our elephants and feeding them organic food.
• Hike with the elephants through the jungle, observe their natural behaviour finding food in the forest.
• Local Thai and Karen lunch.
• Make natural herb balls for elephants to eat.
• Enjoy watching the elephants playing and cooling down in the river. You can also join them in the water if you feel like.
• Time to take more pictures and say goodbye to the elephants and their caretakers.
• Return to the hotel at 5:00 pm.

The trip includes transportation, lunch, bottled water, complimentary photos of your experience with the elephant and accident insurance.

Please come equipped with a T-shirt, long pants, extra clothes, sandals or thongs, camera, sunscreen lotion, insect repellent spray, swimming suit, face towel, hiking shoes.
